HEAROES for VETERANS

We connect veterans, and families in VA communities to life-changing hearing care through the Hearoes Program—featuring the Hearoes Tour, Hearoes Days, and Care Team support—as a key part of our larger One Million Ears campaign, because untreated hearing loss is isolating our nation’s heroes and preventing them from living fully connected lives.

Partnering to Restore Connection Through Hearing

Through the Hearoes Program—including the Hearoes Tour, Hearoes Days, and Care Team support—we partner with VA clinics, audiology teams, and veteran organizations to bring free hearing screenings, education, and personalized follow-up to veterans and military families nationwide.

Our goal is to support VA systems by removing barriers to care, especially in rural and underserved areas, and helping veterans navigate hearing loss, tinnitus, and related challenges. With the support of the VA Center for Development & Civic Engagement (CDCE) and dedicated audiology, public affairs and facility directors & VA staff, we’re working together to ensure no veteran is left behind.

Join us as we build a future where every veteran can live fully connected—because hearing health is essential to whole health.

What We've Learned

Since 2015, we've done over 33,000 questionnaires trying to understand what keeps people from getting help for untreated hearing loss.
